Ruth trained with Farida Sharan at the British school of Iridology and qualified as a Master Iridologist (MBRI).
Ruth also chose the field of crystal healing, training with Katrina Raphael at the Academy of Crystal Healing in Hawaii, and De El Walker of the Crystal Awareness Institute (California), also training, and working with the Spiritual Venturers Associstion Crystal Healing School, gaining a substantial working and intuitive knowledge of crystals.
In 2005 Ruth became the owner of "The Peppercorn" Health food store, which was due to close in the January of that year. She has now been successfully running the store for two years, and this year "The Peppercorn" will celebrate it's 25th anniversary.
Ruth looks after the bookings for the stands and advanced ticket sales, she also arranges the schedule for the workshops, talks and live perfomances at the festivals.
Neil's background is in civil engineering, working as a quantity surveyor for his fathers company (Wold Construction Co. Ltd).
He became involved as a volunteer steward for the 2004 Buxton festival as last minute help through a mutual friend, he met Ruth properly on a Celtic Warrington Project (CWP) working as a volunteer on the archeological dig at Fern House, which is reputed to be the original centre of Buxton with links to the Knight Templar.
They were only there for a few days but this time together was to prove to be the catalyst for their future happiness together, they were married in September 2006.
His childhood abilities became reawakened five years ago during a reflexology session with Marjorie Ward (Spiritual Venturers member), this treatment re-awakend his senses to the more spiritual dimensions of this world.
Neil divides his time between helping with the organisation of the festivals and the computer work.
